James Harden reportedly staying with Clippers on two-year, $70 million deal

James Harden is set to sign a two-year, $70 million contract to stay with the LA Clippers, according to a report from The Athletic on Sunday.

The Sixers acquired Harden in October 2023 in a blockbuster trade. Harden averaged 16.6 points, 5.1 rebounds and 8.5 assists per game in 72 starts for the Clippers last season.

The Clippers’ next order of business in free agency will be trying to re-sign Paul George. It already agreed to a contract extension with Kawhi Leonard earlier in the season.
